Job Description

Core Bookkeeping and Compliance

  • Review full set of portfolios and ensure compliance deliverables (e.g. tax returns, FS prep)
  • With your team of associates, manage the general ledgers including journal entries, accounts payables,
  • receivables, bank reconciliations and other requirements of your assigned client portfolio.

Communication

  • Ensure communication timelines are followed
  • Respect accounting policies and procedures in line with the requirements of clients

Reviews and Quality Control

  • Performs review and controls related to financial reporting and taxes
  • Process Improvement

Process Improvement

  • Documentation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures per client

Risk Management

  • Identify potential issues, draft root cause analysis and raise them to the manager.
  • Team Leadership

Team Leadership

  • Manage one or more Accounting Associates and their output and oversee timekeeping reports of assigned
  • team

  • Manage month-end closing of accounts and prepare clients financial reports in collaboration with your

  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy/Management Accounting/Accounting
  • Technology
  • Certified Public Accountant license is a plus
  • At least 2+ yrs and up of working experience on a senior level in general accounting functions, Payroll,
  • Taxation / financial audit gained from the Big 4 or related field is required for this position
  • Must have a supervisory experience for at least 6 months.
  • Experience in QuickBooks, XERO or any cloud-based accounting system is highly preferred
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid set up and can travel to Mandaluyong City
