ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a full-time remote Senior Accountant role. You will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accrual accounting, account reconciliations, client management, and financial reporting. You will also collaborate closely with our engineering team, using the Truewind platform to help scope and refine workflows for external accounting firms.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (e.g., BS in Accountancy, Management Accounting)
- CPA license preferred but not required
Core Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including bookkeeping and accrual accounting, workpaper preparation and maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reports preparation
- Strong preference for candidates with month-end close experience, including balance sheet and income statement account reviews, particularly for U.S.-based clients.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite
- Experience with U.S. tax preparation and filings is a plus, 1099 preparation, Delaware franchise tax, and providing support for corporate income tax preparation
- Proficiency with accounting and finance tools, including QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com, and Gusto
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex pivot tables, advanced formulas and IF statements, VLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH, VBA or macro experience is a plus
- Familiarity with AI-driven financial tools and accounting technology is an advantage

Work Requirements
