Senior Accountant (Work-from-Home | Full-Time)
Join a team that's fast, focused, and growing.
We're not going to sugarcoat this: this role isn't easy. If you're looking for a slow-paced accounting job with minimal client
interaction and predictable daily routines this won't be the right fit.
But if you're someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes initiative, adapts quickly, and genuinely cares
about delivering high quality work you'll feel right at home here.
What We're Looking For:
We're hiring a Senior Accountant who can:
Stay sharp and calm while juggling multiple clients and deadlines
Take ownership without waiting to be told what to do
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and tech tools
Spot issues before they become problems
Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively with clients
Genuinely care about their work, their clients, and their team
This role requires both strong technical ability and high professional maturity. You'll be trusted to manage client
accounts with minimal hand-holding and expected to uphold a high bar for accuracy and timeliness.
What You'll Get in Return:
Serious career growth. You'll learn more in 6 months here than you might in years elsewhere. We're hiring you as
a Senior today, but our intention is to grow you into a future Manager or Director someone who will help shape
and lead this company with us.
Deep exposure to U.S. GAAP. All of our clients are U.S.-based, giving you the opportunity to work in a global
setup and gain hands-on experience applying U.S. accounting standard.
Rapid earning potential. We reward great work and promote quickly.
Unlimited vacation leaves. We trust you to manage your time and take vacation when needed, in line with our
policies.
All regular Philippine holidays observed. Your rest days are protected.
150% OT pay during peak season. We ask for commitment during busy times (up to 15 hours of OT per week,
averaging 2-3hrs a day), and we make sure you're fairly compensated for it.
13th Month Pay. Yes, even with a US setup we honor this benefit.
Not a graveyard shift. Enjoy a healthy early morning schedule that keeps your evenings free. 100% Work-from-Home. Guaranteed No commute. More autonomy. Your work setup delivered to your doorstep.
Smart, driven teammates. You'll be working with people who care deeply about the work they do.
Supportive leadership. We're invested in your growth not just your output.
A culture of high standards, collaboration, and ownership. We take pride in doing great work together and
taking full responsibility for it. But we also make time to connect and celebrate: we host Fun Fridays weekly and
aim to go out as a team every quarter and even monthly, when our calendars sync!
A Day in the Life:
We thrive in a virtual o ce environment (housed via a Teams call) during work hours because our team culture highly
values strong collaboration and open communication. Your shift starts at exactly 1pm PST so log in 5 to 10 minutes before
your shift, coffee in hand, ready to own your day.
1PM PST (4AM MNL) Start strong. Review your task board, setup your day, prioritize high-impact work, and
align with your supervisor on key goals for the day.
1:30 PM PST (4:30 AM MNL) Connect and collaborate. Lead client calls and/or join team huddles to discuss
priorities, issues, review points, or upcoming deadlines.
3:30 PM PST (6:30 AM MNL) Execution mode. Dive into daily accounting tasks review & code transactions,
clean up A/P and A/R, etc.
5:00 PM PST (8:00 AM MNL) Take a well-deserved break! Breathe, recharge, and reset.
6:00 PM PST (9:00 AM MNL) Deep work block. Tackle complex issues like cleaning up equity accounts,
redesigning a chart of accounts, or preparing audit-ready schedules and workpapers. You raise questions, solve
problems, and suggest improvements without waiting to be told.
8:00 PM PST (11:00 AM MNL) Forward momentum. Roll forward your working papers and set the foundation
for clean month-end closes.
9:40 PM PST (12:40 PM MNL) Wrap up. Update your task board, summarize progress, and send a concise
update to your supervisor.
10:00 PM PST (1:00 PM MNL) Log off. You're done for the day once you've rendered 8 hours productive time
unless it's busy season or there is a special/ad hoc project. During peak periods, we ask for a bit more time
(around 15 hours/week, averaging 2-3hrs a day), but we compensate you with 150% OT pay and full team
support.
Throughout the day, you're collaborating with teammates who, like you, care deeply about delivering accurate, timely
work.
