Role Description

This is a full-time remote role. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities include performing reviews, preparing financial statements, overseeing junior team members, and managing tax calculations and filings. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver accounting solutions while maintaining a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and preparing financial statements
• Expertise in compliance, tax filing, and maintaining regulatory standards
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, and the ability to provide training to clients on its use
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and client management skills
• Capability to work independently in a remote work environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, especially within SMEs, is highly desirable

Compensation and Benefits

• Work arrangement: full-time remote work under a freelance contract
• Salary: 60K-70K monthly plus 13th month pay
