Position: Senior Accountant (Construction)

Your Role:

Job Overview:

Responsible for managing the full accounting function for the building/construction business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Oversight and monitoring of project budgets and cost tracking
• Reconciliation of costs, claims, and progress payments
• Payroll processing
• BAS preparation and reporting
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• Preparation of management and project performance reports

Systems Experience:

• Xero (essential)
• Buildertrend (preferred – noting this system may change in the future)
• Required Experience:
• Solid accounting background with strong reporting capability
• Experience in construction or project-based accounting preferred
• Very strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
