The Opportunity

We're looking for a remote Senior Accountant to take ownership of complex month-end close activities and support financial operations across a multi-entity organization. Working within a modern ERP environment, you'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, driving efficient close cycles, and ensuring US GAAP compliance — including across newly integrated business units.

This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant who thrives on detail, communicates proactively, and works confidently in a remote setting. You'll partner closely with finance leadership while owning your assigned responsibilities and deadlines from start to finish.

What You'll Do

Month-End Close & General Ledger Management

• Drive assigned month-end close activities across multiple entities
• Prepare and post journal entries within the ERP system
• Perform bank reconciliations and review integrated banking transactions
• Record prepaid amortization and fixed asset depreciation entries
• Calculate and book accounts receivable reserves
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and support GAAP-compliant reporting

Multi-Entity Accounting & Integration

• Support the onboarding and integration of newly acquired entities
• Assist with the setup of balance sheets, bank accounts, and financial structures within the ERP
• Ensure consistent accounting processes across all entities
• Adapt to evolving workflows as the organization scales

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Contribute to the preparation of internal financial statements
• Conduct cash flow analysis and support financial review processes
• Prepare reports on unapplied cash and outstanding balances
• Identify and escalate financial anomalies or reporting concerns

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Proven experience supporting month-end close processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Self-starter who works independently while collaborating effectively with finance leadership
