Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support finance and accounting operations. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, support month-end close, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide guidance to the accounting support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, payment tracking, and financial record maintenance.
• Manage client invoicing through Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and other billing platforms.
• Support month-end close, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit documentation.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and banking information.
• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and operational tracking.
• Mentor and review the work of accounting support staff.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Identify process improvements and maintain accounting SOPs.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working for a U.S.-based company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis.
• Experience using Sage Intacct and Salesforce.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, executive search, recruiting, or similar industries is an advantage.
