Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a full-time on-site position located in Alaminos. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Day-to-day duties include managing general ledger activities, coordinating audits, reconciling accounts, reviewing budgets, and providing guidance on accounting policies and processes. This individual will also play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insights to support business decision-making.

Qualifications

• Technical accounting skills including financial statement preparation, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax compliance activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial data, forecasts, and budgets.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and CPA certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management; experience in outsourcing or shared services is a plus.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and U.S. GAAP regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and clients professionally.
• Fluency in English and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial challenges.
