You own the integrity of financial records and the precision of reporting cycles for a growing North American trailer sales and leasing organization. Your role is central to driving financial accuracy, ensuring GAAP compliance, and maintaining the velocity of month-end close processes.

This is not a general bookkeeping role. You operate within a high-growth environment where you are responsible for complex reconciliations, fixed asset management, and financial analysis. Best suited for seasoned accounting professionals who thrive in technical detail, value disciplined reporting standards, and prefer clear ownership over administrative ambiguity.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Hands-on experience with inventory and/or fixed assets
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, H & VLOOKUP)

• Manage daily and monthly journal entries with high precision
• Execute comprehensive account reconciliations to ensure data integrity
• Oversee fixed asset and inventory accounting across multiple sites

Closing & Reporting Excellence

You own the momentum of the month-end close, translating raw financial data into reliable, timely reports.

• Drive the month-end close process to meet strict corporate deadlines
• Prepare detailed financial statements and schedules for management review
• Maintain meticulous documentation for audit readiness and internal controls

Analysis & Budgetary Support

You own the translation of numbers into insights, supporting the organization's strategic expansion across North America.

• Assist with budgeting efforts and variance analysis
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
• Contribute to special financial projects and process improvement initiatives
