Job Description
Job Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards and Philippine tax regulations, and support audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and month-end closing activities.
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Ensure timely BIR filings and payments, including VAT, withholding tax, and income tax.
- Lead internal and external audits and prepare required documentation.
- Analyze financial data, variances, and discrepancies and provide management insights.
- Improve accounting controls and processes.
Qualifications
- CPA required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Preferably with Board of Accountancy Accreditation and BIR Accreditation as Tax Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and Philippine tax regulations.
