Senior Accountant / Finance Lead

We are an Australian technology and engineering company establishing a small Cebu-based operations team to support our international business.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/ Finance Lead to help establish the finance and administrative function for the office and support financial operations across several international entities.

This will be the first local hire, and the successful candidate who will play an important role in helping recruit and support additional accounting and administration staff as the team grows.

This role is suited to an experienced senior accountant who is capable of leading the accounting function for a small international office.

Our company has a hands-on leadership culture. Even senior roles remain directly involved in practical work, particularly in smaller teams, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable being both capable and practical.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Phillippine CPA preferred (or equivalent such as ACCA or CPA Australia)
• 7-10 years accounting experience
• Experience working in multi-entity or international environments preferred
• Experience with payroll administration and financial operations
• Strong understanding of Philippines's accounting and statutory reporting requirements
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Comfortable working with an international team
