Senior Accounting Support for High-Volume Financial Operations

The Qualifications We Seek

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards and financial reporting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, reconciliation analysis, and reporting functions
  • Experience using NetSuite is highly preferred; exposure to other ERP or accounting platforms is acceptable
  • Strong background in general accounting, financial close, reconciliations, and reporting activities
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with commitment to financial accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced finance environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across finance functions
  • Experience supporting audits, process improvements, and financial operations is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and general ledger activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including variance analysis, audit preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax teams to support accurate and efficient financial operations
  • Post bank transactions, apply customer payments, complete reconciliations, and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
  • Record amortization, depreciation, prepaid, fixed asset, and intangible asset entries while maintaining and reconciling related schedules and accounts
  • Manage lease accounting reconciliations and record monthly payroll-related accounting activities
  • Prepare stock-based compensation and equity-related journal entries based on equity management and payroll reports
