As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of lease audits, rental accounting, service charge reconciliations, and compliance-driven reporting for U.S. property portfolios. You will work closely with international stakeholders, ensure billing accuracy, manage complex financial cycles, and provide timely insights to leadership. The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience (required)
- Strong background in business accounting and financial reporting
- Experience handling real estate, lease accounting, or rental accounting (highly preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP standards
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or U.S. accounting environments
- Proven ability to manage complex financial processes independently
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Leadership or team oversight experience is an advantage
- CPA is a plus but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Your Daily Tasks
- Conduct lease and renewal audits, including signature verification
- Handle rental accounting tasks and invoice approvals
- Oversee billing processes and service charges where applicable
- Ensure compliance with transitions, client policies, and tenant requests
- Create 1099 forms and update reports regularly or upon leadership requests
- Manage multiple tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Communicate clearly and effectively across internal and external stakeholders
