The Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support general accounting operations, financial reporting, and financial data accuracy. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, managing receivables, overseeing payables processing, and supporting financial close processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced working with QuickBooks Online and U.S.-based accounting workflows. This role requires strong analytical skills, reliability, and excellent communication in a remote work environment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the Republic of the Philippines
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 3+ years of QuickBooks Online experience
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Experience reconciling bank accounts and classifying transactions in accordance with GAAP
- Experience reviewing U.S. payroll reports and payroll tax returns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high level of accountability
Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger, including reviewing and recording transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist the Controller with monthly closing of books and preparation of financial reports
- Handle accounts receivable management, including monitoring outstanding balances and overseeing follow-up communications for collections
- Review and record vendor invoices and ensure timely accounts payable processing
- Assist with fixed asset management, including monitoring equipment inventory and coordinating with IT for asset tracking
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and escalate discrepancies for resolution
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate financial records
- Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Support the finance team with special projects and other accounting tasks as needed
