The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting commercial performance and sales incentive process and strategy. The role will report to the Director of Commercial Finance. This position leads key analytical processes, partners closely with Finance and Commercial leadership, and provides insights that directly influence revenue growth, sales effectiveness, and strategic decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and calculation of monthly Sales Commissions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery to stakeholders.
- Provide analytical insights on sales incentive performance, including trend analysis, effectiveness assessments, and recommendations to optimize compensation structures.
- Support the sales quota‑setting process.
- Contribute to sales plan design, evaluating incentive mechanics, modeling payout scenarios, and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve financial processes, enhance reporting tools, and strengthen data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
- Provide high‑quality financial support to senior leaders, maintaining strong relationships with Finance and Commercial leadership teams.
- Build ad-hoc financial frameworks to assist with strategic decision making within the commercial organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3-4 years of professional relevant experience in accounting, corporate finance, or strategic finance business partnership
- Corporate Finance experience is a plus.
- High proficiency in excel/PowerPoint and other MS products
- Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce is a plus
