Job Description

The responsibilities associated with the position include:

  • Delivers and monitors sales revenues and profitability targets. Develops and maintains a business plan to grow the sales in the assigned industry/segment and/or accounts.
  • Proactively gathers and analyzes market and competitor intelligence to reinforce and execute sales strategies and plans.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing and sales programs, strategies and activities to address market penetration, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Expands and maintains a network of customers from different industries, as well as industry associations and organizations.
  • Conducts lead generation, prospects conversion and advancement in sales process to closing, switching, and supply commencement. Maintains a steady stream of opportunities. Drives account growth by proactively uncovering new opportunities not only power supply but as well as innovative value-adding services.
  • Performs in-depth customer profiling and analysis on motivation, behavior, pain points, needs and preferences to develop and recommend the best product and service offerings to the customer, influence customer buying behavior, and proactively advance their purchase decision.
  • Strategically targets and prioritize customers with sustainably high profit potential and high closing probability. Maximizes sales profitability while efficiently allocating resources and weighing and managing the risks.
  • Participates in biddings and ensures compliance to the requirements. Leads timely and full compliance on customer switching, provides assistance in completing third party agreements such as DWSA.
  • Conducts load profile analysis, line rental/ WESM Charges analysis, and competitor benchmarking. Analyzes, evaluates, and optimizes the value of PSOs. Provide sound recommendations on PSO and strategy for every opportunity.
  • Ensures the quality of customers being acquired/signed through gathering and proper evaluation of load profile, power bills, line rental or WESM charges, historical and forecasted, consumption pattern including startups, reputational and credit risk, and other relevant information.
  • Independently crafts, innovates, presents sales pitch and highlights key differentiator and the value it provides to customers.

Position Requirements:

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, influencing and facilitation skills, experienced in managing cross functional groups and developing strategic relationships and networks (both internal and external) across all levels
  • Ability to conduct in-depth customer profiling to identify underlying pain points and proactively determine opportunities to serve the customers and maximize account growth before, during, and after the sale.
  • as attentiveness to details to ensure contract, bid, and/or applicable regulatory compliance
  • Can understand and articulate/ translate legal, technical and commercial provisions in contracts
  • Advanced financial and negotiation capabilities combined with critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand and assess the risks and the rewards in consideration of the customer and SNAP business in the commercial, legal/regulatory, and technical aspects. Can independently provide sound recommendations based on this assessment.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing acquired in industries such as:

- Oil, Gas & Power/Energy

- Utilities

- Commodities

- Banking & financial services

  • • Strong experience with customer relationships development • Experience in leading strategy development and driving execution • Exposure to various aspects of commercial operations (pricing and portfolio management) and marketing (place, product, price, promotion)
  • Good understanding in project management and experience in leading change successfully

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred), Economics, Marketing or Business.
