Job description:

  • Ensures achievement of assigned production targets in support of the goals and objectives of the Marketing Department.
  • Ensures effective management and servicing of assigned intermediaries and accounts in accordance with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Plans new projects, prepares introductory letters and materials, and proactively makes proposals to prospective clients.
  • Prepares reports on completed visits and product presentations to clients, brokers, or agents.
  • Conducts business and product presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensures the completion of the following in relation to New Business, Renewal, and Endorsement:

a. Releasing of Renewal Notice/Renewal Advice to the client in accordance with the Department's turnaround time.

b. Obtaining required Underwriting information.

c. Conducting negotiations to improve Company profitability.

d. Arrangement of internal work processes and requirements including monitoring and follow-up for completion/approval of quotations from Underwriters.

e. Timely delivery of policies and Statement of Accounts to assured.

f. Monitoring of premium payment and coordination of collection from clients.

g. Filing and safekeeping of documents.

h. Compliance with turnaround time.

  • Collaborates with internal departments to facilitate immediate completion of requirements by both external and internal clients.
  • Handles or resolves customer concerns promptly and accordingly.
  • Assists in facilitating settlement or resolution of claims and supports accident response.
  • Actively takes a lead role in marketing campaigns, initiatives, and projects.
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc reports as required by the immediate superior or Management.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree
  • More than 3 years of work experience in related field (i.e., Marketing/Sales in the non-life insurance industry)
  • Adequate knowledge of various non-life insurance products
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Excellent customer-service orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
