Job Description
As a Product PIC focusing on Seller Experience, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the experience of sellers on our platform. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around understanding seller needs, strategizing product initiatives, and ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our sellers.
Key Responsibilities
Insights and Strategy
- Provide valuable insights into seller behavior and needs, leveraging data and user feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seller experience considerations are at the forefront of product strategy.
- Participate in the development of product roadmaps based on a deep understanding of the seller journey.
- Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end journey of C2C sellers.
- Generate analysis, insights, and reports that will guide strategy and initiatives for the assigned segment.
FRF Creation, Approval, and System Enhancements
- Support the creation of PH Feature Request Forms (FRFs) and work for their approval on a regional level.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather necessary information and present compelling cases for the implementation of new features.
- Complete UAT to certify the compatibility and stability of the current environment.
- Handle feature improvement requests and be familiar with requirement management processes.
- Understand system, feature, and function mechanisms to support operational and product changes.
- Identify issues, reach out to the relevant PIC, and define potential work plans and follow-ups.
Implementation Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive implementation plans for the effective launch of new features, ensuring a smooth transition for sellers.
- Focus on increasing adoption rates of existing features through targeted strategies and user education programs.
- Ensure sellers are able to adapt to BAU operations and campaign requirements.
- Lead process and system improvements for the assigned segment; proactively identify risks, develop and communicate contingency plans, and manage those plans.
Content Creation and Review
- Contribute to the creation and review of product-related content for information cascades and seller education initiatives.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure that materials effectively communicate the value and usage of product features.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Marketing, CS, Seller Education, Business Development, Customer Insights, and Customer Support to drive successful product outcomes.
- Communicate and collaborate with these teams as a regular source of seller information.
- Engage key stakeholders and participate in monitoring/developing insightful reports that will be used to inform initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure alignment with seller-focused product initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, with a focus on user experience or seller engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with e-commerce or online marketplace environments is highly desirable.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term goals with long-term vision.
