Podcast Network Asia is looking for a highly creative and organized Segment Producer to lead the development and production of high-impact shows. The Segment Producer is responsible for the overall success of their assigned titles, serving as the bridge between creative vision and technical execution.
You will work closely with hosts, brand partners, and the production team to ensure every episode is engaging, professional, and delivered on schedule. If you are a storyteller who loves the intersection of audio, video, and digital media, this role is for you.
Minimum Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
- Show Ownership: Lead the end-to-end production of assigned podcast titles, from concept development and guest booking to final publishing.
- Editorial Direction: Develop episode themes, research topics, and draft scripts or talking points that align with the show's brand and audience.
- Recording Management: Direct recording sessions (remote or on-ground), providing guidance to hosts and guests to ensure high-quality performances and content.
- Post-Production Oversight: Collaborate with audio and video editors to provide timestamped notes and cut and splice raw files, ensuring the final edit meets the creative vision and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for podcast hosts and brand partners, ensuring their objectives are met and expectations are managed.
- Content Strategy: Repurpose podcast content into social media-friendly clips (TikToks, Reels, Shorts) in coordination with the Multimedia team.
- Project Tracking: Maintain meticulous production calendars to ensure all episodes are recorded, edited, and published according to the release schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, Media Production, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content production (Podcasting, Radio, Digital Video, or TV).
- Ability to identify compelling angles and structure narratives for audio-visual consumption.
- Familiarity with podcasting equipment, recording platforms, and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a hybrid mindset for both remote and on-ground production.
