Job Description

The Security Sub-lead for Special Projects is responsible for overseeing policy and process management within the Security & Investigation team. This role leads security quality assurance initiatives, drives program development, and manages special investigations. Additionally, the Sub-lead collaborates cross- functionally to address losses, and conduct investigations, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and industry best practices.

Duties And Responsibilities

Proactively reviews existing security policies, procedures and measures to ensure alignment with identified security needs.

Formulate new security policies, procedures, and measures to address current, arising, and projected security requirements.

Document all policies, procedures and measures to include in Manual of Operations for the SPX Security & Investigation Team.

Lead and actively participate in operational excellence projects from initiation to completion.

Lead the conduct of in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Identify gaps and inefficiencies and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Develop a comprehensive Security Program for SPX.

Develop an incident and emergency Management procedure, crisis management procedures, and business continuity plan.

Lead the management of existing and new special projects from initiation to completion.

Collaborate with other teams and departments on loss and investigation initiatives.

Lead the conduct of investigation on high profile cases including but not limited to internal fraud.

Assist the overall Security Lead in managing incidents that require special attention.

Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all documentations relevant to security policies, procedures, and measures.

Manage the security information cascade to all stakeholders when needed.

Requirements

Educational Background & Certifications Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management or any related field. Master's degree is a plus

Certified Security Professional and Lean Six Sigma Certifications will be considered as an advantage.

Experience Requirement

Must have at least five (5) years of combined experience in security, investigation, and project management.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong understanding of project management principles, security management, investigation, and intelligence.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and the ability to handle large sets of data.

Familiarity with process mapping tools and methodologies is advantageous.
