Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in any field; a degree related toCriminology, Public Administration, or a related discipline is an advantage.
• Experience in airline, airport operations, ground handling, law enforcement, corporate security, or aviation security is preferred
• Experience in managing or coordinating with third-party security service providers is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, incident investigation, risk assessment, and security compliance
• Strong sense of integrity, discipline, accountability, and attention to detail

What's The Role All About

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the security of PAL/PAL Express aircraft, MRO facilities, personnel, and operations by overseeing security guards, monitoring security activities, investigating incidents, identifying risks, and implementing security improvements.

Major Responsibility Areas

• Responsible for the maintenance and sustenance of security measures, for company and assets (aircraft) parked at bay hangar, ramp facilities.
• Oversight supervision of Central Monitoring Room (CMS) CCTV surveillance operation. Gather, collect collate information, detect suspicious activities and unsafe acts for appropriate action
• Oversight supervision of 3rd party service providers, through the conduct of regular operational briefing ensuring proper dissemination of security related information for implementation
• Prepare communication relative with the implementation of Security related programs and activities to concerned 3rd party service providers
• Respond to incident / accident and generation of reports for evaluation and recommendation of corrective action to prevent its re-occurrence
• Identify further enhancement of security operation at various access control points (Security signages, vehicle barrier, communication and screening equipment, security outpost improvement etc.)
