Job Description:

The Security and Investigation Analyst is responsible for conducting investigations on fraud, theft, losses, misconduct, and other security-related incidents through evidence gathering, analysis, and reporting. The role supports asset protection, security compliance, incident response, and risk mitigation efforts while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve cases and strengthen security controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations involving theft, fraud, parcel loss, misconduct, policy violations, and other security-related incidents.
  • Gather, analyze, and preserve evidence through interviews, CCTV review, system data analysis, document examination, site visits, and field investigations.
  • Conduct fact-finding activities and interviews with employees, contractors, vendors, customers, and other involved parties.
  • Prepare investigation reports, incident reports, case summaries, and recommendations for management action.
  • Determine root causes of incidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures to minimize operational losses and security risks.
  • Conduct site security inspections, risk assessments, and vulnerability reviews of facilities, assets, and operations.
  • Monitor and investigate reported security incidents, suspicious activities, and operational irregularities within assigned areas.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, security providers, and other stakeholders during investigations and incident resolution.
  • Monitor the performance and compliance of assigned security personnel and ensure adherence to company security policies and procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to physical security controls, loss prevention measures, and security procedures.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies, local authorities, and external partners when necessary for investigations and security incidents.
  • Maintain accurate investigation records, evidence files, and security documentation while ensuring confidentiality of information.
  • Support administrative investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and compliance reviews as required.
  • Prepare periodic reports on investigation activities, security incidents, loss trends, and identified risks.
  • Perform other security, investigation, and loss prevention functions as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in corporate security, investigations, loss prevention, fraud management, law enforcement, intelligence, litigation, risk management, data analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience in conducting investigations, incident management, evidence handling, and report writing is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Security Management, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Security, investigation, fraud management, risk management, or intelligence-related certifications are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of investigation methodologies, evidence collection, interviewing techniques, and report writing
  • Knowledge of physical security operations, incident response, risk assessment, and loss prevention principles
  • Ability to analyze information, identify root causes, and develop practical recommendations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in reviewing CCTV footage, operational records, system data, and other investigative resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate investigation reports
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation tools.
  • Willing to conduct site visits, field investigations, and travel as required.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
