We are seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls that protect our systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to identify risks, respond to incidents, and strengthen our overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions across infrastructure, cloud, and applications
- Monitor systems for security threats and respond to incidents
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain IAM, network security, and endpoint security controls
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Conduct security reviews, audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate security incidents and lead remediation efforts
- Stay current with emerging threats and security best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Qualys, etc.)
- Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
