The Secretary serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders of the Area or Region Office. This is a full-time role that supports the smooth and efficient daily operations of the bank. The position requires strong proficiency in office systems, professional communication, and coordination skills.
What you will do
- Manage daily calendars and schedules of the Area Head, including meetings and appointments
- Handle and manage official emails, ensuring timely responses and proper coordination with concerned parties
- Coordinate internal meetings, events, and office activities
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other required documents
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for accurate record-keeping
- Provide front-line administrative support through call handling and visitor coordination
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks to support the team as needed
What we are looking for
- At least one to two years of experience as a secretary or administrative assistant is an advantage
- Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven ability to handle professional email communication with discretion
- Experience in basic event and meeting coordination
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure with effective priority management
