Baker/Icer is responsible for preparing baked goods and decorating them with icing and other finishes. This role combines baking skills with creativity in cake and pastry decoration.
- Prepare and bake products such as cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and pastries
- Mix and prepare icings (buttercream, fondant, glaze, etc.)
- Decorate cakes and pastries according to design standards or customer requests
- Use piping techniques, tools, and molds for detailed designs
- Ensure consistent product quality, taste, and presentation
- Follow recipes and production schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Monitor ingredient stock and report shortages
