Job Description

VCloud is seeking a strategic SEO Content Specialist who brings a deep understanding of search intent, on-page SEO best practices, and content performance optimization.

This role is pivotal in driving our organic growth forward by conducting keyword research, creating and optimizing high-quality content, and improving website structure and technical hygiene to enhance search visibility. You will be the bridge between our marketing goals and our content execution, ensuring high-performing, search-ready content and measurable increases in organic traffic and engagement.

SEO Strategy & Optimization

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search terms and align content with user intent.
  • Optimize website content, including blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions, using on-page SEO best practices.
  • Improve website structure, meta descriptions, title tags, internal linking, and schema markup to enhance search visibility.
  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues like broken links, slow page speeds, and indexing problems.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, providing data-driven recommendations.

Content Writing & Development

  • Write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and product pages.
  • Adapt writing style and tone based on the target audience, ensuring clarity, engagement, and brand consistency.
  • Craft compelling headlines, introductions, and conversion-driven CTAs (calls to action) to enhance engagement.
  • Use storytelling and data-backed insights to make technical topics more relatable and digestible.
  • Integrate multimedia elements (images, infographics, embedded videos) to improve content readability and user experience.

Performance Analysis & Content Optimization

  • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and engagement metrics to assess content effectiveness.
  • Refresh and update older content to maintain relevance, improve rankings, and align with algorithm changes.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities for growth.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers, designers, and marketing teams to align content with SEO and UX best practices.
  • Provide SEO training and guidelines to content creators to ensure content is structured for search visibility.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends

  • Keep up with Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and emerging content trends.
  • Experiment with new content formats and strategies to enhance organic reach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer, preferably in the technology or B2B sectors.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and on-page optimization.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity, engagement, and technical accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing, multimedia, and technical teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in content.
  • Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console & Google Analytics and keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush or Ahrefs).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience writing about call center technology or related industries is a plus (e.g., telecommunications, SaaS).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and familiarity with website structure is a plus.
