We're looking for a hands-on SEO Specialist who understands how the search landscape is changing. This role blends traditional SEO with next-generation GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) ensuring our clients are visible across both search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. You'll work closely with strategists, copywriters, and digital specialists to deliver content and optimisation strategies that perform now and prepare for what's next.
This is not a role suitable for people trying to work multiple roles.
Your Role Will Involve
- Developing SEO strategies that align with client goals and broader marketing campaigns.
- Conducting keyword research, mapping, and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
- Executing on-page optimisations, including metadata, headings, internal linking, and content refreshes.
- Leading local and geo-targeted SEO initiatives, optimising Google Business Profiles, managing NAP consistency, and building high-performing location pages.
- Creating SEO briefs and collaborating with copywriters to ensure content is optimised for intent, readability, and conversion.
- Overseeing technical SEO health (indexing, site speed, schema, crawlability).
- Reporting monthly on performance, clearly communicating results, insights, and next steps.
- Tracking impact not just activity through measurable SEO KPIs tied to client growth.
Who You Are
- 4+ years experience in SEO in an agency environment.
- Confident managing multiple client accounts and delivering proactive recommendations.
- Hands-on with both technical and content SEO, from keyword mapping to schema and on-page audits.
- Deep understanding of local SEO and geo-targeted ranking strategies.
- Excellent communicator who can work collaboratively across teams and explain SEO outcomes in plain language.
- Experienced with tools such as SE Ranking, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and GA4.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable, you take ownership and drive performance, not just maintenance.
