Role Overview

You are leading our remote team in Philippines as offshore employee. As our Scrum Master, you'll be more than a process facilitatoryou'll be a key driver of our agile development culture. Working in close collaboration with our CTO, you will continuously refine and improve our development workflows. Your core responsibilities include leading Scrum rituals, removing impediments, and establishing a secure, efficient development lifecycle. This role demands a rare blend of organizational excellence and deep expertise in development security. With your solid technical background, you'll understand the challenges our senior developers face and act as a reliable, solution-oriented partner. Your work will enable the delivery of high-quality, secure codedirectly contributing to Peeriot's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum Processes: Facilitate all scrum rituals, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring the team remains focused and productive.
• Support Requirement Engineering: Coordinate the requirement engineering process to facilitate the refinement and prioritization of requirements, ensuring they are clearly understood and actionable for the development team.
• Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and solve challenges that hinder the team's progress, demonstrating a tenacious, go-getter attitude.
• Ensure Process Adherence: Coach the team on Scrum principles and secure coding best practices, ensuring a high standard of quality and discipline in every sprint.
• Establish and Enforce a Secure Development Lifecycle: Take the lead in implementing a formal and secure development lifecycle process, for example based on standards like ISO/IEC 62443 (add-on)

Key Requirements (Must-haves/mandatory)

• Extensive Scrum Experience (5+ years): Proven, hands-on experience as a Scrum Master for a senior-level technical team. You are an expert in Scrum principles and have successfully applied them in complex environments.
• Results-Oriented Mindset: We need a hands-on doer, not someone who hesitates when things get tough. You must have a track record of persevering through difficult challenges and seeing projects through to the end.
• People Skills, Remote Collaboration & Change Leadership: You lead through influence, not authority, and know how to support remote teams without formal leadership responsibility. You engage stakeholders across roles and levels, facilitate alignment, and guide teams through changewhether it's adopting agile methods or driving cultural shifts.
• Requirements Facilitation Experience: Proven ability to support teams in understanding, structuring, and prioritizing technical requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Technical Acumen: You have a solid technical background that allows you to understand complex engineering discussions and effectively support the development team.
• Location: You reside in Philippines.

Additional Requirements

• Secure Development Lifecycle: Hands-on experience establishing and managing a secure development lifecycle, with practical knowledge of security standards like ISO/IEC 62443.
