We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for data analytics and data management initiatives within the Life Insurance domain. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Agile project management, stakeholder engagement, and coaching cross-functional teams to successfully deliver high-impact data projects.
This role requires someone who can drive Agile best practices, remove impediments, and foster collaboration between business and technical teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITITES
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Drive and ensure adherence to Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Lead delivery of Data Analytics and Data Management projects.
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, mindset, and continuous improvement.
- Track and report project progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
- Utilize Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr for project tracking and documentation.
- Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in Project Management and Agile delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile Frameworks (Scrum and Kanban).
- Experience handling Data Analytics or Data Management projects.
- Solid background in Stakeholder Management.
- Experience mentoring and coaching teams in Agile environments.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
- Experience working in the Life Insurance industry.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- PMI-ACP
- SAFe Agilist
- or equivalent Agile certifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of data governance, data warehousing, or BI initiatives.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Data Engineers, Analysts, Business Teams).
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple squads/projects simultaneously.
