Job Description

Role: SCCM Administrator

Job Summary: The SCCM Administrator is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the configman functionality in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Operating System Deployment (SCCM). SCCM Configuration Engineer will partner with client Architecture and Engineering teams on design and implementation of future state efforts including installing/removing site infrastructure, integrations with Azure/InTune and implementation of new features. The position requires a responsible, self-motivated, well-organized individual with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Package software using AdminStudio, WiseScript, Batch scripting and PowerShell for distribution through SCCM.

Maintain the Application/package library, retiring and removing obsolete & redundant objects in SCCM.

Maintain ConfigMan application across multiple CAS based hierarchies.

Perform CM application upgrades Coordinate Server/DB upgrades.

Maintain BDE policies and reporting portal Maintain WSUS infrastructure.

Understanding of co-management with Azure and CMG

Maintain integrated PowerBI instance Provide reports using T-SQL and PowerBI.

Manage monthly security patches utilizing SCCM Troubleshoot deployment issue.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Provide support for release deployments in a 24x7 operations environment as required.

Produce technical and operational documentation.

Qualifications:

3 years relevant experience working with ConfigMan.

1+ Service Now or equivalent ticketing system experience.

Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience.

Demonstrate a customer focused attitude.

ConfigMan Knowledge (collections, application/package deployments, software packaging, task sequences, windows updates).

Microsoft Active Directory Administration

Experience Security patching using SCCM with WSUS integration.

AdminStudio (creating MSI and MST)

WiseScript experience

PowerShell and Batch scripting experience SQL experience (desired)

Experience with Microsoft Operating System deployment tools: MDT, SCCM, OSD and Windows PE.

Required Soft Skills:

Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call after hour rotation environment.
