Role Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented SBA Loan Closer to support the closing and funding of SBA 7(a) loans in a fully remote role. The position is responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely loan closings by coordinating with borrowers, lenders, attorneys, and third-party vendors from approval through funding.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and committed to delivering an excellent client experience while adhering to SBA and lender requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing financial services organization focused on helping small businesses secure the right funding solutions.

LOCATION: Must be residing in the Philippines– Remote.

ENVIRONMENT: Philippines and International Teams.

LANGUAGE: Advanced English (B2+ - C1)

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

Essential Functions

Loan Closing Management

  • Manage the full SBA 7(a) loan closing process from approval through funding.
  • Coordinate closing activities across multiple SBA lending partners.
  • Review lender credit approvals and loan authorizations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all closing documents align with approved loan terms and conditions.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Track and satisfy all lender and SBA closing conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain detailed closing checklists and accurate pipeline tracking systems.
  • Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the closing phase.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, and other third-party vendors.
  • Provide timely updates to internal teams, lenders, and stakeholders throughout the closing process.

Process Optimization & Risk Management

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may delay closing or funding.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and ensure accuracy in all loan documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in SBA 7(a) loan closing.
  • Strong working knowledge of SBA SOP requirements and loan closing procedures.
  • Experience coordinating closings across multiple lenders or varying lender processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a loan brokerage, advisory firm, or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and loan origination software (LOS).
  • Background in commercial lending, underwriting, or financial analysis.
