SAS ETL Lead (Malaysia Deployment)

The Opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced SAS ETL Lead to design, develop, and manage enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAS DI Studio and hands-on experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases. This role requires both technical proficiency and leadership skills to guide a team of ETL developers and ensure high-quality data delivery.

The Role.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using SAS DI Studio.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, and other databases into enterprise data warehouses.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior ETL developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues, ensuring timely delivery of data pipelines.
• Document ETL processes, standards, and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

The Expertise.

• 6+ years of experience in ETL development, with at least 3 years in SAS DI Studio.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and data Modeling.
• Handson experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience in performance tuning of ETL jobs and database queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
