Sap Sd Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant with strong OrdertoCash (O2C) expertise to support and enhance SAP SD solutions in a global FMCG environment. This role is part of an Application Management Services (AMS) setup, focusing on incident resolution, change delivery, process optimization, and close collaboration with crossfunctional teams.

Primary & Secondary Functional Skills

• SAP SD Mastery with deep handson expertise across the endtoend OrdertoCash lifecycle.
• Order Management: Expert configuration of Sales Document Types, Item Categories, and Schedule Line Categories, tailored for FMCG scenarios such as Rush Orders, Returns, and Consignment.
• Pricing & Revenue Management: Strong mastery of Condition Technique, including Pricing Procedures, Condition Types, and Access Sequences to manage complex FMCG discounts, rebates, and promotional pricing.
• Shipping & Logistics: Deep functional knowledge of Delivery Processing, Picking/Packing logic, Route Determination, and Shipping Point Determination.
• Billing & Invoicing: Expert configuration of Billing Types, Copy Control, Credit/Debit Memos, and integration with FIAR (Accounts Receivable).
• Master Data Management: Comprehensive handling of Customer Master, Material Master (Sales Views), and CustomerMaterial Info Records.
• Availability Check (ATP): Functional understanding of Basic ATP and Transfer of Requirements (TOR) to ensure accurate product availability for retail partners.
• Credit Management: Configuration and support of Basic Credit Management and integration with Financial Accounting.

Key Responsibilities AMS Context

• Incident Management: Lead resolution of Tier2 and Tier3 SAP SD incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to sales operations and adherence to strict SLAs.
• Change Request (CR) Management: Translate FMCG business requirements into detailed Functional Specifications (FS) and lead configuration, unit testing, and UAT for enhancements.
• Problem Management: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring O2C issues and implement permanent functional fixes or process improvements.
• Integration Support: Collaborate with MM, FI, PP, and WM teams to ensure seamless endtoend integration, especially for Stock Transfer Orders and 3PL (ThirdParty Logistics) scenarios.
• Business Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to global business users, recommending SAP best practices to simplify sales processes and improve order fulfillment rates.
• Documentation: Maintain uptodate functional documentation, configuration rationales, and user training materials for the global template.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• SAP Certified Application Associate Sales and Distribution.
• Basic knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Fiori applications.
• Familiarity with EDI / IDoc monitoring and troubleshooting for sales orders and invoices.
• Basic understanding of ABAP debugging to assist in technical troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with global stakeholders.
