Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA SCM PM, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and configuring SAP S/4HANA-based Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions for clients. Your expertise in SAP S/4HANA EAM will enable you to help clients optimize their plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and reduce downtime.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Design and Implement Solutions: Design and implement SAP S/4HANA EAM solutions to meet clients business requirements, utilizing your knowledge of SAP S/4HANA EAM applications to optimize plant maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and design tailored solutions to address their challenges.
- Configure SAP S/4HANA EAM: Configure SAP S/4HANA EAM applications to meet clients specific requirements, ensuring seamless integration and effective solution delivery.
- Deliver Solution Expertise: Apply your expertise in SAP S/4HANA EAM to deliver high-quality solutions that meet clients needs and expectations.
- Support Client Operations: Help clients improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime by providing expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA EAM best practices and solution implementation.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- At least 4 years of functional experience in SAP PM and/or SM.
- Hands‑on configuration experience in both modules.
- End‑to‑end project lifecycle experience (from blueprint to deployment).
- Experience providing support in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience in maintenance or service‑oriented industries (manufacturing, utilities, field service, oil & gas, etc.) is often preferred.
- Experience with data migration and cutover activities
- Strong functional expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) processes:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Maintenance notifications and orders
- Task lists, maintenance plans, measurement points, counters
- Refurbishment and overhaul processes
- Strong functional expertise in SAP Service Management (SM/CS):
- Service notifications and service orders
- Service contracts and warranty management
- Service billing, resource‑related billing (DP90/DP91)
- Installed base management and equipment records
- Understanding of integration with:
- Materials Management (spares, reservations, procurement)
- Sales & Distribution (service billing, service contracts)
- Finance/Controlling (cost posting, settlement)
- Ability to create functional specifications for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to PM/SM.
- Good troubleshooting and issue‑resolution skills.
- Ability to work with business users and translate needs into system design
