General description:
Expertise, consultancy, and functional support in the field of SAP Materials Management (MM) within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
Involvement in implementing, configuring, and optimizing procurement and materials management processes to support enterprise operations.
The role sits at the intersection of business process analysis, SAP system configuration, and cross-module integration, ensuring SAP MM solutions align with operational requirements and best practices.
The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and well-integrated SAP procurement and inventory solutions.
Nature of the tasks:
- Configure and support SAP Materials Management (MM) modules including procurement, inventory management, and material master data.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical and development teams.
- Support integration with other SAP modules such as FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM.
- Perform system configuration, unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues related to procurement and inventory processes.
- Assist with data migration, master data setup, and cutover activities during project deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve procurement workflows and inventory management processes.
- Document business processes, functional specifications, and configuration settings.
Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- SAP certification in MM or SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Technical expertise:
- With focus on:
- SAP Materials Management (MM) configuration and customization
- SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or support
- Procurement processes and inventory management
- Material master data management
- Integration with SAP modules such as FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM
- SAP testing processes (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT)
- SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA
- Fiori applications related to procurement and inventory (nice to have)
- Data migration and master data setup
Professional experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP MM functional consulting including configuration and implementation support.
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments, either through implementation, migration, or production support.
- Hands-on experience across end-to-end SAP project lifecycle including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience supporting procurement and inventory processes in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to cross-module integration with FI, SD, PP, or WM/EWM is strongly preferred.
Language skills:
Strong command of English (spoken and written).

Engagement details:
Duration: 6 months initial contract and extendable
Work Setup: Hybrid (mostly remote, onsite only as needed)
