SAP MM Functional Consultant (S/4HANA)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant with S/4HANA exposure to support implementation, configuration, and optimization of procurement and materials management processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure SAP solutions align with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP Materials Management (MM) modules including
- procurement, inventory management, and material master data.
- Participate in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, and testing.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for
- technical teams.
- Support integration with other SAP modules such as FI, SD, WM/EWM, and PP.
- Perform system configuration, testing (unit, SIT, UAT), and documentation of MM
- processes.
- Provide production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of SAP MM functionalities.
- Assist in data migration, master data setup, and cutover activities during project
- deployments.
- Work closely with stakeholders to optimize procurement and inventory processes.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of SAP MM functional consulting experience.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA (implementation, migration, or support).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and material
- master data.
- Experience with configuration and customization of SAP MM.
- Exposure to integration with FI, SD, PP, or WM/EWM modules.
- Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle (implementation or rollout) is highly
- preferred.
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in S/4HANA transformation or brownfield/greenfield implementations.
- Familiarity with Fiori applications related to procurement and inventory.
- Knowledge of SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA.
- SAP certification in MM or S/4HANA is a plus.
