Hands-on experience performing backup and recovery via command line (not limited to SAP HANA Studio).

Strong understanding of backup and restore procedures.

Experience configuring replica systems for high availability.

2️⃣ Performance Tuning & Optimization

In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA performance tuning.

Monitoring and analyzing:

CPU utilization

Memory usage

Critical system metrics

Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in SAP HANA environments.

Understanding how SAP HANA handles memory and adjusting memory settings for optimal performance.

Clear understanding of:

Data compression vs. partitioning

Proven approaches to improving query performance in SAP HANA.

3️⃣ Database Architecture & Design

Strong knowledge of SAP HANA database setup and configuration.

Understanding of:

SAP HANA architecture

Build and deployment process

Real-time troubleshooting

Ability to propose and design optimized databases in SAP HANA.

Knowledge of main table types in SAP HANA and when to use each.

Understanding of:

Main components of a typical SAP HANA installation

SAP HANA distributed models

SAP HANA XS Advanced (XSA)

Familiarity with SAP HANA platforms (cloud and on-premises).

4️⃣ Replication & High Availability

Practical experience with replication setup.

Familiarity with tools such as Pacemaker.

Strong understanding of failover mechanisms.

5️⃣ Installation & Configuration

Knowledge of prerequisites for SAP HANA server installation.

Understanding of SAP HANA installation steps.

Experience configuring high availability and replica systems.

6️⃣ Infrastructure Knowledge
