Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of financial consolidation solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. The role involves leading consolidation implementations, configuring SAP Group Reporting and SAP BPC, and ensuring accurate financial reporting aligned with GAAP and IFRS standards. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, develop reports, and support end-to-end project delivery including testing, training, and go-live activities. This position requires strong expertise in financial consolidation, intercompany accounting, and SAP reporting tools such as Fiori, Analysis for Office, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP Group Reporting and consolidation implementations, including modeling development and consolidation processes across multiple business entities.
- Deliver high-quality solution implementation and deployment, including feasibility analysis of functional and technical requirements within SAP S/4HANA FICO and Group Reporting environments.
- Configure and manage SAP Group Reporting (versions 1809/1909/2020) with a strong understanding of end-to-end financial consolidation processes.
- Design and develop advanced financial reports using Fiori applications, with additional reporting capabilities in Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) considered an advantage.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards, including expertise in intercompany accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
- Utilize experience in SAP BPC 10.1 on NetWeaver or higher versions, including the design and development of complex financial reports.
- Lead design workshops and blueprinting sessions, acting as a solution architect for SAP BPC and Group Reporting implementations.
- Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, coordinate development activities, and identify system limitations.
- Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Define functional business requirements and recommend optimal solutions to key business users.
- Prepare and maintain system blueprint documentation, configuration documents, and process documentation.
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to support solution adoption.
- Plan and execute cutover activities for system go-live, ensuring a smooth transition to production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, reporting specialists, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated business solutions.
Qualifications:
- CA / ICWA (preferred) or MBA from a reputable institution.
- Strong expertise in SAP Group Reporting and Financial Consolidation.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience configuring SAP BW and SAP BPC.
- Solid understanding of the SAP technology platform, including SAP HANA and NetWeaver.
- Proven functional expertise in financial consolidation and reporting processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work effectively in global and culturally diverse organizations.
- Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder expectations and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
