We are looking for a capable and driven SAP Controlling (CO) Assistant Manager to support the delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP CO, hands-on configuration experience, and exposure to modern SAP methodologies such as SAP Activate, RISE with SAP, and SAP BTP.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Controlling (CO) workstream in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client cost management and profitability processes.
- Configure SAP CO components including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
- Participate in client workshops, requirement gathering, FIT-GAP analysis, and preparation of functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with FI, MM, SD, and PP modules.
- Assist in testing cycles (SIT, UAT), data migration, and cutover planning.
- Work with technical teams to support WRICEF developments and ensure solution quality.
- Contribute to the adoption of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard approach.
- Provide post-go-live support and help resolve functional issues.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability building.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of SAP experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in the Controlling domain.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration, including cost planning, allocations, product costing, and profitability analysis.
- Good understanding of Universal Journal and S/4HANA innovations in Controlling.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori apps, and RISE with SAP is a plus.
- Cross-module integration experience with FI, MM, SD, and PP.
Certifications
- Required: SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting (CO) Certification
- Preferred: SAP Activate Project Manager (Associate Level)
Educational Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field (B.Com, B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc.)
