SAP BTP BASIS Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP BASIS Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support applications within the SAP Business Technology Platform. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with SAP Build Portfolio, BTP services, and Joule Studio, along with strong development and extension capabilities for cloud-native SAP applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience as an SAP Technical Consultant or Developer, with strong focus on SAP BASIS BTP.
• Hands-on experience with Joule Studio for AI-driven development and scenario extensions.
• Solid experience with the SAP Build Suite (Apps, Work Zone, BPA, Code).
• Strong understanding of BTP services such as:
• Cloud Foundry
• CAP (Cloud Application Programming)
• SAP HANA Cloud
• XSUAA / IAM & Security
• Integration Suite (added advantage)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, or other languages used for BTP development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development patterns.
• Good understanding of OData, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and microservices concepts.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, extend, and maintain applications within the SAP BTP environment, leveraging a broad range of BTP services and products.
• Hands-on experience with Joule Studio for building/extending AI scenarios beyond standard offerings.
• Strong application development expertise in the SAP Build Portfolio (which includes Build Apps, Build Workzone, Build Process Automation, Build Code).
• Implement change requests according to business needs, ensuring robust application maintenance and support in the BTP space.
• Stay up to date with the latest SAP BTP innovations and proactively recommend enhancements or new solutions.
