Sap Basis Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to manage and support SAP system landscapes, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability. The role involves SAP system administration, monitoring, upgrades, transports, and collaboration with functional and technical teams across implementation and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities

•     Administer and support SAP systems including SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW

•     Perform SAP system installation, configuration, and administration across development, QA, and production environments.

•     Manage system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

•     Handle transport management, client administration, system copies, and system refreshes.

•     Perform kernel upgrades, support package stacks, and SAP notes implementation.

•     Support SAP HANA administration activities (monitoring, backups, performance).

•     Manage user administration, roles, authorizations, and security related tasks.

•     Coordinate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and issues.

•     Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and go live activities.

•     Maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.

•     Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

•     3+ years of hands on experience in SAP Basis Administration.

•     Strong experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW environments.

•     Working knowledge of:

o     SAP system architecture (ABAP stack, basic Java stack exposure)

o     Transport Management System (TMS)

o     SAP profiles, parameters, and system monitoring

•     Experience with SAP HANA administration is preferred.

•     Exposure to Linux and/or Windows operating systems.

•     Experience supporting production and non production SAP landscapes.

•     Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.

Good to Have

•     Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or upgrades.

•     Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.

•     SAP Certification in SAP Basis / SAP HANA Administration.

•     Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

•     Experience in global or multi client SAP landscapes.

Educational Qualifications

•     Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
