Job Title : SAP Basis Administrator

Location : Taguig, Metro Manila

Shift Schedule : CET Hrs, 2pm to 12 am

Work Setup : Hybrid, 2x a week RTO 1x a month – UT2 Primary Other RTO days – Work near Home

Position Type : 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to manage and support SAP system landscapes, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability.
• The role involves SAP system administration, monitoring, upgrades, transports, and collaboration with functional and technical teams across implementation and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP systems including SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW
• Perform SAP system installation, configuration, and administration across development, QA, and production environments.
• Manage system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Handle transport management, client administration, system copies, and system refreshes.
• Perform kernel upgrades, support package stacks, and SAP notes implementation.
• Support SAP HANA administration activities (monitoring, backups, performance).
• Manage user administration, roles, authorizations, and security related tasks.
• Coordinate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and go live activities.
• Maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration.
• Strong experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW environments.

Working knowledge of:

• SAP system architecture (ABAP stack, basic Java stack exposure)
• Transport Management System (TMS)
• SAP profiles, parameters, and system monitoring
• Experience with SAP HANA administration is preferred.
• Exposure to Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting production and non-production SAP landscapes.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or upgrades.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.
• SAP Certification in SAP Basis / SAP HANA Administration.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in global or multi-client SAP landscapes.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
