SAP Developer
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of highly complex SAP solutions. This role requires deep expertise in ABAP programming and strong collaboration skills to work with functional consultants and business users to deliver customized and efficient solutions within the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain: Design, develop, test, and implement custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEF objects) using classic and modern ABAP programming techniques.
- System Enhancement: Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug existing SAP systems, providing timely and effective solutions for production issues and implementing system improvements.
- Technical Design: Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and perform code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices are met.
- Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces using various techniques (e.g., IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services/SOAP/REST) for integrating SAP with external systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed objects and modifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SAP Functional Consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development (including ABAP Objects).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in key ABAP technologies such as Reports, Enhancements (BADI, User Exits, Enhancements Framework), Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms), and Data Dictionary.
- Integration Knowledge: Proven experience with SAP interface technologies (e.g., BAPI, RFC, IDOCs, or OData services).
- Core Modules: Familiarity with data structures and configuration within core SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM).
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
