SAP ABAP Developer (Philippines)

The Opportunity.

We are looking for a SAP ABAP Developer with 25 years of experience to support our ELHP project. The developer will design, build, and maintain custom ABAP programs and enhancements within SAP IS-U and FI-CA modules, ensuring integration with business processes and external systems.

The Role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements (BADIs, user exits, enhancement framework).
• Work with IS-U billing tables (ERCH, DBERCHZ1) and FI-CA tables (DFKKKO, DFKKOP, DFKKOPK) for reconciliation and reporting.
• Implement data migration and incremental load programs using BAPIs, IDocs, and custom logic.
• Optimize ABAP code for performance on SAP HANA (CDS views, AMDP).
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support integration with external payment systems (RFC, REST APIs).
• Provide technical documentation and assist in testing and deployment.

The Expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 45 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IS-U and FI-CA processes.
• Experience with object-oriented ABAP, CDS views, and HANA optimization.
• Familiarity with incremental load strategies and reconciliation logic.
• Good understanding of SAP integration technologies (RFC, BAPI, IDoc, REST).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager or similar tools.
• Experience in utilities industry projects.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud integration is an advantage.
