The Role Tech Mahindra is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our technical delivery team in the Philippines for a long-term strategic project. As a senior member of our SAP practice, you will lead the design and development of complex RICEFW objects and support the business in its transition toward intelligent enterprise solutions like S/4HANA.
This is a long-term contract (12 years), offering stability and the opportunity to work on high-impact global projects within Tech Mahindra's Scale at Speed framework.
Key Responsibilities *
Technical Execution: Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality code using ABAP/4 for various SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, WM).
- RICEFW Mastery: Design and develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Modern Integration: Build and consume OData Services and manage system interfaces via IDocs, BAPI, and RFC.
- Performance Tuning: Conduct deep-dive troubleshooting, runtime analysis, and SQL tracing to optimize system performance.
- S/4HANA Innovation: Utilize modern ABAP techniques, including CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.
- Project Ownership: Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical blueprints and provide unit testing and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills * Experience: Minimum 5+ years of solid, hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Core Technicals: Mastery of Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
- Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP HANA database and performance optimization.
- S/4HANA Skills: Hands-on experience with CDS Views and Fiori/OData is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with a Customer-First mindset.
- Local Residency: This role is strictly open to local candidates in the Philippines (NCR/Makati/Cebu regions preferred).
