About the Role
The Salesforce Solution Architect serves as a trusted technical advisor to customers, owning solution design from discovery through delivery. This is a highly customer-facing, hands-on architecture role that blends strategic thinking with implementation expertise.
You will lead discovery sessions, define technical scope, architect scalable Salesforce solutions, and guide implementation while managing multiple concurrent customer engagements. This role requires deep Salesforce expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust, enterprise-grade technical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business requirements, technical constraints, and success criteria
- Own technical scoping, architecture decisions, and implementation planning for Salesforce-based solutions
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce architectures, including:
- Data models
- Security and sharing models
- Automation frameworks (Flows, Apex, Lightning components)
- Custom functionality
- Provide hands-on configuration and development within Salesforce
- Serve as the primary technical and consultative point of contact throughout customer engagements
- Manage multiple concurrent customer projects, balancing scope, timelines, and technical complexity
- Architect and guide integrations with external systems (APIs, middleware, event-driven design)
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align customer requirements with platform capabilities
- Review technical designs and implementations to ensure architectural integrity and best practices
Competencies and Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years of Salesforce solution design and delivery experience
- Strong hands-on Salesforce configuration and development experience (Flows, Apex, Lightning components)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security/sharing models, and automation frameworks
- Proven experience working directly with customers in a technical, consultative role
- Experience scoping projects, estimating effort, and managing multiple parallel engagements
- Strong integration architecture experience (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, data synchronization)
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, Marketing Cloud)
- Experience supporting enterprise governance or multi-org environments
- Exposure to metadata visualization, documentation, or system governance platforms
- Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent)
