About the Role

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for the hands-on development, technical design, and delivery of custom Salesforce solutions that support complex business requirements. Working as part of a distributed offshore delivery team, you will collaborate closely with onshore consultants, technical architects, and customer stakeholders to build robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions across the Salesforce platform, with a strong focus on Service Cloud and custom development.

What you'll do

Development and Technical Delivery

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and platform automation tools
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware where applicable
• Translate technical designs and user stories into clean, well-tested, and performant code aligned to Salesforce best practices and governor limits
• Contribute to technical design discussions, providing input on solution options, trade-offs, and implementation approaches
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards and DevOps practices

Solution Design and Architecture Support

• Support senior architects and technical consultants in shaping end-to-end solution designs across Salesforce Core and Service Cloud
• Contribute to data models, integration patterns, and security designs that align with platform governance standards
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and areas for optimization during design and build phases
• Document technical designs, build specifications, and configuration artifacts to a high standard

Delivery and Collaboration

• Work as part of a distributed onshore/offshore team, delivering build tasks through development, SIT, UAT, and go-live phases
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, QA, and onshore leads to ensure clarity of requirements and timely delivery
• Provide hypercare and post go-live support, including defect triage, root cause analysis, and remediation
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, code libraries, and reusable accelerators

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across Apex, LWC, Flows, and declarative configuration
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals including data model design, sharing and security, governor limits, and asynchronous processing
• Experience delivering custom solutions on Service Cloud, including automation, validation, and triggers
• Working knowledge of integration patterns and experience building or consuming REST/SOAP APIs
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD tooling, and Salesforce DX
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams and time zones
• Developer mindset (capable of writing code, highly proficient in Apex triggers)
• Architect mindset (able to propose solutions based on customer requirements)

Desired Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
• Salesforce Application Architect or Service Cloud Consultant Certification (or working
• towards)

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, Omni-Channel, or Knowledge implementations
• Experience with MuleSoft, AWS, or other middleware and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein for Service, or AI-driven automation
• Experience working with enterprise DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Flosum
• Understanding of LDS (Lightning Design System), accessibility standards, and
• responsive UI development
