We're looking for an AI Automation Lead who can bring structure and intelligence to how Sycomp operates internally. This role is about more than technology — it's about understanding our business processes deeply, documenting them rigorously, and systematically identifying where automation and AI can eliminate friction, reduce manual effort, and drive operational efficiency.

Note: This role requires experience working in Salesforce.

What You'll Do

Process Discovery & Documentation

  • Conduct structured process discovery sessions across sales, operations, finance, logistics, and customer service teams to understand current-state workflows end to end
  • Develop clear, comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each business process — capturing inputs, outputs, decision points, system touchpoints, and manual steps
  • Maintain a living SOP library that serves as the single source of truth for how Sycomp's core processes operate
  • Identify and document pain points, bottlenecks, and manual handoffs — with a particular focus on copy-paste-heavy tasks and Excel-based workflows that bridge gaps between systems

Automation Assessment & Roadmap

  • Analyze each documented SOP to identify automation opportunities, scoring them by business impact, feasibility, and effort
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized automation roadmap aligned to business goals and stakeholder needs
  • Recommend the right automation approach for each process — whether that's AI assistance, RPA, system integration, workflow automation, or a combination
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to validate recommendations and secure buy-in before implementation

Automation Design & Delivery

  • Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions that eliminate manual steps identified in SOPs — replacing fragile copy-paste workflows with reliable, system-to-system data flows
  • Leverage AI tools — including Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot — to automate tasks such as data extraction, summarization, document generation, and decision support
  • Work with tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, Zapier, or similar platforms to build and deploy automation across business functions
  • Oversee integrations between core platforms (Salesforce, Excel, ERP, and others) to remove manual data re-entry and improve data accuracy

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish standards and templates for SOP documentation and automation design across the organization
  • Define KPIs for each automation initiative and track impact — measuring time saved, error reduction, and process cycle time improvements
  • Conduct regular reviews of deployed automations to ensure reliability and identify further optimization opportunities
  • Build awareness and capability across the business by running workshops, lunch-and-learns, and creating easy-to-follow guides for non-technical teams

What You Bring

Business Acumen

  • Strong understanding of how IT services, managed services, or technology solutions businesses operate — ideally in a global, complex environment
  • Proven ability to conduct process discovery and produce high-quality SOPs that non-technical stakeholders can understand and act on
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance, and logistics teams
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and facilitating process workshops

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years in business process analysis, operations improvement, or automation-focused roles
  • Demonstrated experience documenting SOPs and translating them into automation specifications
  • Hands-on familiarity with LLMs — like Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot — and practical experience applying them to automate business tasks
  • Experienced using Salesforce platform, especially using Agentforce, and Data360.
  • Experience eliminating Excel-based manual workflows by connecting spreadsheet data directly into business systems through automation or integration tools
  • Proficiency with automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, Zapier, or similar
  • Familiarity with API integrations and how systems connect to one another

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional documentation and communication skills — able to write clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical mindset with a bias for simplification and action
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • A natural change agent who can influence without authority and bring teams along on an automation journey

Nice to Have

  • Experience in IT distribution, global logistics, or professional services
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certifications
  • Familiarity with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining)
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations across global regions (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Scripting skills in Python or VBA for Excel automation
