We are looking for an experienced
Salesforce Administrator to serve as a strategic enabler for our sales and customer service teams by optimizing how Salesforce is applied in real-world operations. This role extends beyond traditional system maintenance to focus on
enhancing user adoption, streamlining processes, and ensuring data integrity across the platform.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders and a Salesforce Architect to ensure that platform capabilities are applied effectively and consistently, following industry best practices. This position is perfect for someone who blends
deep Salesforce technical knowledge with a practical understanding of
sales and service workflows, and who is driven by delivering measurable business impact through technology.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Alignment & Platform Enablement
- Engage with sales and service teams to analyze daily operations and assess how Salesforce supports customer interactions.
- Propose enhancements to platform usability, efficiency, and adoption based on user feedback and usage analytics.
- Convert business requirements into scalable, well-architected Salesforce configurations that drive productivity.
- Act as a go-to advisor for Salesforce best practices, troubleshooting, and improvement opportunities.
Platform Configuration & Management
- Configure and maintain core Salesforce components including:
- Custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules
- Declarative automations such as Flows
- Operational reports and dashboards
- Uphold data quality through validation, cleanup procedures, and governance.
- Manage user access, profiles, permission sets, and role assignments.
Architecture & Governance Collaboration
- Partner with the Salesforce Architect to implement changes aligned with platform strategy and standards.
- Review proposed modifications to ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance with governance policies.
- Help prevent technical debt by advocating for sustainable configuration practices.
Release Support & Documentation
- Assist with testing of new features and changes before deployment.
- Support sandbox environment management and release coordination.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for configurations, procedures, and user support materials.
Adoption & Continuous Enhancement
- Track and analyze platform adoption trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Support user onboarding and change management efforts.
- Continuously refine Salesforce processes in response to evolving business needs.
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration in a production environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce configuration and declarative automation (e.g., Flows).
- Background supporting sales or service teams with Salesforce in a business-critical capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, security models, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into effective platform solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and experience partnering directly with business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
- Experience collaborating with Salesforce Architects or development teams.
- Familiarity with integrations, APIs, or cross-system coordination.
- Background in organizations with mature or rapidly evolving Salesforce implementations.
