Job Description

Job Summary

The Salesforce Administrator is part of a team responsible for managing the client's Salesforce environment (50 users), ensuring that the setup meets the needs of the Fundraising and Marketing teams. This includes maintaining and improving the user interface (Lightning), helping with and maintaining the currency, accuracy and consistency of the CRM data and making sure that CRM processes and automations run smoothly.

Job Responsibilities

Salesforce Administration:

  • Ensuring operational continuity of the platform. Managing access, user licenses and service quotas. Keep track of platform changes and ensure minimal disruption to PIA's operations;
  • Manage improvements to Salesforce UI and data structure, to ensure it meets the changing needs of the fundraising and marketing teams;
  • Ensuring production instance is at par with industry standards and best practices;
  • Ensure the consistency and reliability of our CRM data, by implementing and conducting data hygiene activities. Work with the Data and Insights (D&I) team to keep data quality standards high and enforce their application.
  • Assist Fundraising team with ongoing appeals and campaigns, providing input and control on campaign data structures and implementing any changes in the CRM. Execute bulk data import and export requests as necessary.

Feature Improvements

  • Ensure change governance is in place, improvements and updates are thoroughly tested and deployed effectively.
  • Work together with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve and simplify existing processes and automate repetitive task.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to implement and support solutions where required.

Support

  • Serve as a focal point for CRM's questions across all users. Identify opportunities to expand or improve the way users interact with the CRM.
  • Make sure that all documentation pertaining to the CRM platform and related processes remains current, documented and meets business and user requirements (Confluence).

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working as a Salesforce Administrator/Developer or Salesforce functional or technical specialist is required (2 years min), preferably in fundraising, marketing or a sales or campaign-driven setup.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its key components, including UI design, data model and integration mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce user functionality, including reporting and dashboard modules.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce bulk operation mechanisms, capable of conducting bulk imports and tailored exports.
  • Keen awareness of new Salesforce innovations and demonstrate a growth mindset.
  • Ability to work using agile methodologies to create continuous improvements. Does not let the perfect get in the way of the better.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and to prioritise action and resources accordingly.
  • Strong understanding of how Salesforce automation operates. Experience with complex Flows.
